I’m thrilled to let you know that my new EP ‘ARCANA’ is out now on Bandcamp!
ARCANA is a four-track, tarot-themed EP written and performed with my dear friend Mishkin Fitzgerald (lead singer of alternative metal band Birdeatsbaby). Each song is inspired by a different tarot card that holds special significance to us. Through these songs, we’ve explored themes of transformation, identity, recovery, liberation, and finding your inner wisdom. These songs are beautiful, wild, witchy, and pretty weird. I love them, and I hope you do too.

Mishkin and I first started working together in 2021, when I reached out to her about producing and recording my debut album. Since our first meeting, we immediately felt this strong connection musically and platonically, and we’ve been good friends ever since. Throughout the album recording process, we talked about writing a few songs together on duelling pianos, and once we sat down and started writing, the songs flowed through so quickly – and thus, ARCANA was born. The songs were written remotely throughout spring, and then we met up a few times over the year to co-write in person, and record vocals and pianos at The Nest. We got loads of amazing musicians involved in this release as we built up the songs into full-band arrangements – it was really fun to work with new people, and bring new sounds and styles to the project. I’m so proud of what we’ve created together.
