It’s time that these problems were shouted about and no longer pushed under a rug and hushed with shame. We need to start asking the people in power why are we being victimised for having a uterus.
So, on the 15th of July at Mozarts Swansea we will be having an open mic of poetry, words, music and whatever you would like to say on the issue, also performances by Ali Hancock, Eleri Angharad and Cath Elms. All are welcome to sign up, let’s show solidarity to those women and other people who menstruate who are rough sleeping/homeless and have enough problems to worry about.
This is a trans inclusive event and aims to support all people, women or not, who experience periods and require proper sanitary equipment whilst homeless.
If you’d like to sign up in advance for the open mic sesh message/post on this page.
ENTRY WILL BE MENSTRUAL HYGIENE PRODUCTS OR WHATEVER DONATION YOU CAN GIVE
