This week I moved house! We’ve been looking for a new place for months, but finally found somewhere that we loved. It’s just outside Swansea, with a big garden, loads of space, and room for my own music room/study! 🙂
We’re going to be sorting out our new place for the next few weeks so I’m not going to be around online quite so much. Plus, we’re not getting the internet installed until mid-December so we’re currently relying on 3G and BT wifi hotspot, which is patchy at best. We’re getting fibreoptic broadband, so as soon as it’s in, we’re probably going to have an internet weekend where we just catch up on all our feeds!
Anyway, here are some photos from our lovely new place:
Daf’s Dalek shrine
My music room (once it’s unpacked)!
Getting our fix of cute Toby photos before we moved out :'(
Fun with word magnets!
Other news:
1. I have 3 gigs coming up; the next one is this Friday supporting Tusk! Takes place in The Masons, free entry, open to all. Details of all my upcoming gigs can be found on the live shows page.
2. I’m doing a charity abseil in 2 weeks! My team are called the Rockin’ Robins, and on December 6th we’re abseiling 120 feet down the Civic Centre. All the funds raised will be invested in the education and care of Africa’s poorest children. You can donate via our Just Giving page; even if you can only manage a few quid, it all helps. https://www.justgiving.com/RockinRobinsAbseil
3. The second issue of Sonorus: Feminist Perspectives on Harry Potter (the compzine I co-edit), was published this week! Buy a copy on the Sonorus website.
