2014 was a formative year where I made great progress with my personal development (read my review of the year here).  I want 2015 to be even better, hopefully with less of the sucky stuff.

Every year, instead of setting New Year’s Resolutions, I set big scary goals and smaller personal goals, breaking each of these down into an action plan and manageable weekly/monthly tasks.  Here are mine for 2015!

BIG SCARY IMPORTANT GOALS

  • Record and release an EP
  • Record an album
  • Put together and release a demos album
  • Do a live-stream internet gig
  • Professionally film some live performance music videos
  • Film and release a music video
  • Create new music promo materials (planner p.66)
  • Redo Couch to 5K
  • Go to a party

SMALLER PERSONAL GOALS

  • Set aside time to write music/lyrics weekly
  • Set up a joint account for household expenses
  • Tone up
  • Get at least 1 more tattoo
  • Do at least another 10 yoga classes (with a new teacher)
  • Learn how to do a proper push up
  • Dive deeper into music, and let other hobbies take more of a backseat
  • Complete National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo)
  • Try regular meditation
  • Develop new friendships
  • Read 2 books per month
  • Prioritise sleep, self-care, and relaxing
  • Complete CBT workbook

Hopes for between now and my 26th birthday (read more about my birthday reviews here):

  • Finish my 2014 scrapbook, and start a 2015 one in the new year.
  • Record more material
  • Release at least 1 EP
  • Play more gigs
  • Add lots of new products to my shop
  • Run a 10k
  • Keep doing yoga, maybe as often as 3 times a week
  • Generally get fitter
  • Set up a morning routine and a bedtime routine, and stick to them!
  • Read more books, zines and comics
  • Grow my own herbs and vegetables
  • Raise money for charity
  • Be calmer and happier
