Taking Stock: June 2014Posted by Catherine Elms on June 29, 2014 Blog posts | | One comment
It’s been such a busy few weeks! I haven’t had a chance to sit down and write about it really, I tend to mostly document my adventures on Instagram. (BTW Instagram is my new internet home; Facebook is a pain in the butt now that you have to pay for your fans to see your updates, so you should definitely check me out there!)
Here’s what I’ve been up to this month:
Making: New home demos!
Cooking: bacon and maple syrup pancakes for brunch
Drinking: Turkish apple tea, a gift from my parents’ holiday to Turkey. It’s very yummy.
Reading: Show Your Work by Austin Kleon
Wanting: Mexican food.
Looking: At my beautiful office as I walk to it each morning (above).
Playing: Dress-up with Toby!
Deciding: on the track listing for my next EP
Wishing: For strength and steadfastness
Enjoying: My new job 🙂
Waiting: For Pay Day!
Liking: My first experience of Swansea Pride!
Wondering: Where I’ll be living this autumn
Loving: Hanging out in the sunshine
Pondering: My next tattoo design!
Considering: Where to go on holiday this year.
Watching: Angel season 2 – easy evening viewing!
Marvelling: At how I can finally run a 5k!
Smelling: The cranberry air freshener in my office
Wearing: this beautiful floral dress that my bf bought for me when I was feeling sad <3
Following: lots of cool new blogs written by the people from Alive in Berlin!
Hoping: For fun and adventure this summer
Noticing: How beautiful my home city really is.
Knowing: That worry is a misuse of my imagination. (credit)
Thinking: About how to get tough when life gets difficult.
Admiring: People who do what they want regardless of what others will think of them
Sorting: My emotional/mental clutter.
Buying: My car’s first service… £££ (buhhhh)
Getting: Compliments on my Black Widow cosplay from last month!
Bookmarking: Lots of useful solopreneur posts tweeted by Yes and Yes.
Disliking: the song ‘Come On Eileen’. smh
Opening: All the windows!
Giggling: at this vine of an egg Rap God. Actual tears.
Feeling: Tired, but hopeful.
